新加坡国立大学 The National University of Singapore

Its 16 faculties and schools across three campus locations in Singapore – Kent Ridge, Bukit Timah and Outram – provides a broad-based curriculum underscored by multi-disciplinary courses and cross-faculty enrichment. NUS has three Research Centres of Excellence (RCE) and 22 university-level research institutes and centres. It is also a partner for Singapore’s 5th RCE. The University shares a close affiliation with 16 national-level research institutes and centres.

新加坡国立大学(简称NUS，或“国大”)，是新加坡共和国的第一所大专学府。新加坡国立大学始创于1905年。目前拥有9所专业学院，7个研究生院，多个研究所和科研中心。新加坡国立大学目前拥有13个学科，可供至少22000名本科和8000名研究生学习。新加坡国立大学学科门类齐全，设有人文和社会科学、理学、工学、商学、法学、建筑学、电脑学、杨潞龄医学院和杨秀桃音乐学院。另有李光耀公共政策学院，东亚研究所等研究机构。 在2011年英国《泰晤士高等教育》的THE-QS世界大学排名中，新加坡国立大学位列第28名.

学校所在城市介绍

新加坡国立大学主校园位于肯特岗（Kent Ridge），位于新加坡西南部，离市中心12公里，距东郊樟宜机场（Changi Airport）30分钟车程。 校区占地150公顷，前身是殖民地时代英军驻新加坡巴西班让（Pasir Panjang）空军基地。校区被肯特岗大致分为前后两部分，前部为学区，行政楼，和康乐设施；后部主要是研究所和学生公寓。校区毗邻新加坡科学园（Singapore Science Park），新加坡科技研究局（A*STAR）和国立大学医院（National University Hospital），科研条件十分便利。
