Surrey scores Five Star international rating in QS rankings

The University of Surrey has been awarded Five Stars in the international QS university ratings.

Following in-depth assessment across a broad range of criteria including research profile, graduate employability, student support and sports facilities and teaching and learning the University was awarded the maximum rating.

According to QS, a typical five star university is generally world class in a broad range of areas, enjoys a high reputation and has cutting edge facilities and internationally renowned research and teaching faculty.

Nottingham University Executive MBA graduates achieve highest global salary increases

Nottingham University Business School’s pioneering MBA for working people has come top in a global survey of percentage salary increases achieved after they graduate with the career-advancing qualification.

The Executive MBA (Masters of Business Administration) is a popular advanced management course for ambitious executives and managers who want to study while continuing their career.

According to the Economist’s 2015 Executive MBA ranking, the Nottingham course has   risen overall by 19 places to 21st globally and second in the UK – against tough competition from North America, Europe and Asia.

Financial and Management Studies at SOAS first in London

The Department of Financial and Management (DeFiMS) Studies at SOAS, University of London is first in London and sixth in the UK in the latest national league table.

The Guardian University Guide 2016 also ranked the Department with a 96% score for course satisfaction, the second highest score in the country. This follows news of the 2014 NSS, which also rated the Department 96% for the overall quality of its course.
