The University has become the latest academic organisation to partner with the National Structural Integrity Research Centre (NSIRC).

University launches world's first photographs taken with telescope made by 3D printing

The University of Sheffield has released the very first photos of space ever taken with a telescope that has been made using a 3D printer.

The telescope in question costs just £100 to make and is constructed from parts readily available on the internet.

Loughborough engineer aiming to make powdered milk taste like the real thing

Powdered milk could taste more like the real thing in the near future thanks to a project involving a Loughborough University chemical engineer.

Dr Andy Stapley has been awarded a £274,578 grant by the European Commission to help produce better quality powdered milk by improving the spray drying process.
