An expert on medieval law at the University of St Andrews has met the Queen at a special reception to mark the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta.

John Hudson, Professor of Legal History at the University, was one of three mediaeval historians to attend the event at Buckingham Palace in the presence of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, and the Princess Royal

The accolade reaffirms Durham University’s position as one of the world’s top universities - Durham is consistently ranked in the top 100 in two influential league tables, the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and the QS World University Rankings.

Deadline approaches for applications to Loughborough University’s International Summer School

Students from the EU and overseas are invited to attend Loughborough University’s International Summer School for two weeks of fun and intensive learning.

Open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, the Summer School often attracts those with an interest in sport and management and enterprise. It will also be of interest to students looking to pursue a career in international sports management or in a sport-related social enterprise. The deadline for applications is Friday 1 May.

来自欧盟和实际各地的学生被邀请参加拉夫堡大学国际暑期学校为期两周的快乐和加强学习。
