St Andrews top in UK for teaching and academic quality

The University of St Andrews is one of the top three universities in the United Kingdom for teaching and the quality of the academic experience it offers students, according to the results of the National Student Survey published today (Tuesday 12 August 2014).

圣安德鲁斯大学在最新的全国学生普查中，其优秀的教学质量和学术经验被选为全英国前三名。

ARE business schools bastions of misogyny? That would be an easy conclusion to draw if one were simply to look at the number of women students who enrol on the top MBA programmes. As the table below shows, of the MBAs that rank in our top 100 just a solitary one, the International University in Monaco, admitted more women than men in 2013.

The study published in The Astrophysical Journal Letters by UCL cosmologists Dr Andrew Pontzen and Dr Hiranya Peiris (both UCL Physics & Astronomy), together with collaborators at Princeton and Barcelona Universities, shows how forthcoming astronomical surveys will reveal what lit up the cosmos.
