Overseas study and work placements open the world to Swansea University students

SWANSEA University law students have been seeing LA law for themselves in California this summer while some of its nursing and medical students have travelled to The Gambia.

These are just two of the many opportunities available for students to gain international experience as part of the University’s range of study and work abroad programmes.

BA (Hons) Fashion Students Lead the Guides Uniform

Five BA (Hons) Fashion students have led the first Guides uniform redesign in 14 years.

Recognising AUB’s commitment to promoting body confidence and challenging beauty stereotypes, students from BA (Hons) Fashion were chosen by Girlguiding to lead the redesign, which will now be worn by thousands of Guides across the UK.

Entrepreneurs gather for cake sale

An office space created to inspire and nurture entrepreneurs and start-ups has opened at the University of Portsmouth.

The Innovation Space held a Macmillan Coffee morning, with local entrepreneurs, members of the community, University staff and students attending for a morning of tea, cake and donations, as well as the opportunity to view the facilities and network.
