Student wins Undergraduate of the Year Award

University of St Andrews student Katy Barlow has won the prestigious TARGET jobs Mathematics, Economics and Finance Undergraduate of the Year Award.

From over 3500 entries, Katy was one of 109 undergraduates shortlisted for 12 awards from universities across the UK. BBC news presenter Fiona Bruce announced the winners at the Grand Final at East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf, London.

Two of our third-year students, James Fraser and Karolina-Verzhiniya Nikolova, have received an Engineering Leadership Advanced Award. The scheme, launched by the Royal Academy of Engineering, helps undergraduate engineering students to realise their potential and achieve their goals.
