埃克塞特大学 University of Exeter

The University of Exeter is a public research university located in South West England, United Kingdom. The university was founded and received its Royal Charter in 1955, although its predecessor institutions, the Royal Albert Memorial College and the University College of the South West of England, were established in 1900 and 1922 respectively.

埃克塞特大学（University of Exeter）大学前身为成立于1900年的"皇家亚厘毕学院"（Royal Albert Memorial College）和成立于1922年“西南英格兰大学学院"（University College of the South West of England）”。于1955年获得皇家特许，正式升格为大学。大学位于英国西南部德云郡埃克塞特。埃克塞特大学曾是英国大学“1994年集团”成员之一。2012年3月12日，埃克塞特大学退出1994年集团，加入有英国常春藤联盟之称的罗素集团。
